Sound and character
The Air Zenko is spacious, bright, silvery. It feels like standing by an open window on a cool morning and taking a long, clear breath. The scale is neither sad nor cheerful — it is clear: weightless, equally at home in music and in silence.
How to use
- Breath work and pranayama
- Creative sessions — writing, drawing, intuitive movement
- Children's workshops, background sound during storytelling
- Meditation and mindfulness
Why this product
If you already own a deeper instrument (monochord, sound chair, Earth Zenko), the Air variant is a wonderful complement: it sits higher, brings in a different register, and helps you build delicate contrasts. On its own it is equally complete if airy, clean timbre is what you are after.
Care tips
- Play slowly and let each note decay — the Air variant lives on silence.
- Try striking in sync with your breath: one note per inhale, one per exhale.
- Protect from drops and moisture, store in a soft bag.
About Feeltone
Feeltone is a small, hand-craft workshop in Lassan, northern Germany, founded by Ingo Böhme. For more than two decades the team has been building monochords, sound beds, sound chairs and ceremonial drums for sound bath practitioners, sound artists and meditation practitioners. Every instrument is built by hand from sustainably sourced timber and finished with natural oils. The Zenko family is part of the carefully curated accessory range that Feeltone distributes alongside its own instruments.
