Sound and character
The Earth Zenko is the most stable and holding of the four elements. Notes sit low, resonate fully, and carry the player like a thick, warm rug. If you work as a sound therapist and need a voice that roots, soothes and draws downward, this is the element. The 432 Hz reference makes it feel unusually body-close — many players say they don't so much hear the Earth Zenko as feel it.
How to use
- Accompanying relaxation and body-awareness practices
- The quiet, descending phase of a sound bath
- Trauma-sensitive work and anxiety-relief sessions — soft, non-threatening sound
- Evening rituals and pre-sleep wind-down
Why this product
We recommend the Earth variant to anyone drawn to warm, dark, brown-hued tones. It sits beautifully on top of a Feeltone monochord drone and feels complete on its own — no second instrument needed. We carry Zenkos because, in the Feeltone spirit, they are handcrafted instruments built to last decades.
Care tips
- Play gentle, repeating patterns — the Earth element settles through rhythm.
- Try it lying down with the drum placed carefully on the belly or chest so the vibration travels through the body.
- Store it in the supplied bag, away from dust and moisture.
About Feeltone
Feeltone is a small, hand-craft workshop in Lassan, northern Germany, founded by Ingo Böhme. For more than two decades the team has been building monochords, sound beds, sound chairs and ceremonial drums for therapists, sound artists and meditation practitioners. Every instrument is built by hand from sustainably sourced timber and finished with natural oils. The Zenko family is part of the carefully curated accessory range that Feeltone distributes alongside its own instruments.
