A yoga mat that calms you with its colour
A beautiful mat already invites you to practise. The soft pink shade of the Yogi & Yogini PVC yoga mat is gently joyful, so it does not feel loud when rolled out in the living room. The size of 61 × 183 centimetres is comfortable for most adult heights, yet it fits well in an average flat when unrolled.
Thicker than you might expect at first
The mat is 5 millimetres thick, so it gives a noticeably kind support for your knees, wrists and hips. You can stay more comfortably in all fours poses, seated and lying down practices, and if you breathe lying down in the morning, your spine is not pressed by a cold floor.
Stable grip, calm movements
The surface is slightly textured, so it holds your palms and soles well during effort. You can stay more confidently in downward facing dog, in plank holds and in lunges because you do not have to readjust constantly. The PVC material is easy to clean, so if a little sweat lands during practice, it can be refreshed in seconds.
Home, travel and studio
The mat weighs about 1 kilogram, so you can easily carry it to the studio with a shoulder strap or under your arm. At home, standing in a corner or leaning against a wardrobe, it does not take much space. The soft pink colour is especially pleasant for a morning practice, when natural light still falls gently into the room.
Care and lasting appearance
Wipe the mat with a slightly damp cloth and a little lukewarm water, without harsh detergents. Do not put it in a washing machine and do not fold it sharply, rather roll it loosely along the longer side. Do not leave it in direct sunlight for long, as the colour may fade over time. This way you receive a mat that will be your companion for years, both visually and to the touch.
