A hand-rolled yoga incense from the Yogi & Yogini yoga line, named "Shakti", with a Cardamom scent – a fine, restrained aroma for yoga practice, for meditation, or for quietly tuning a space.
Shakti and the Cardamom scent
Cardamom gives a warm, spicy, lightly sweet scent; "shakti" recalls the Hindu idea of the creative, animating feminine energy. The line is made for practitioners of yoga and meditation, built on pure ingredients and a mild, unobtrusive scent; by tradition the burning supports a feeling of calm and serenity. This is a traditional, mood-setting role, not a medical effect.
Craft
The sticks are hand-rolled under Fair Trade terms, in co-operation with families in southern India, from selected, pure ingredients.
Safety and use
Place the stick in a suitable holder on a heat-resistant, stable surface, light the end, then blow out the flame so the ember smoulders. Never leave it burning unattended; ventilate the room and keep it away from flammable objects and children.
