The Flower of Life mandala traces its delicate lines around both sides of the cork block – a steady support for practice on which the eye can rest upon an ancient pattern.
The Flower of Life symbol
The Flower of Life is one of the best-known patterns in sacred geometry: it is made of regularly arranged, overlapping circles and appears in many ancient cultures. It is traditionally regarded as a symbol of the connection of all life in the universe, of harmony and wholeness.
What is a yoga block for?
The block supports your poses: placed under the palm it brings the floor closer in standing poses and supports backbends. It is used across Iyengar, Anusara, Ashtanga, restorative and power yoga, and is proven in physiotherapy too.
Natural cork, responsibly harvested
Cork is a 100% natural, renewable and biodegradable material. The cork oak is never felled: its bark is harvested by hand roughly every nine years, and the trees can live up to 300 years. It is odourless, light, slightly springy and non-slip – and warm to the touch.
Care
Wipe clean with a damp cloth and let it air-dry. Keep it away from prolonged moisture and direct sunlight.
