The lotus symbol
The lotus rises from the mud to open a clean flower, a plant tradition knows as a symbol of purity and spiritual unfolding. The anthracite shade gives the motif a calm, neutral backdrop and fits easily into any interior.
What a bolster is for
A bolster is a densely packed, elongated cushion that, placed under the back, legs, neck, chest or behind the knees, supports the body in yoga poses. In restorative and yin practice it takes on the body's weight, so the muscles and joints can release without strain – the breath deepens and the shoulders soften.
OCS-certified organic cotton
The cover is OCS 100 certified organic cotton and the filling is natural buckwheat hulls that hold their shape and mould to the body. The height can be adjusted over time by removing or adding filling.
How to use it
For restorative and yin yoga, chest- and hip-opening poses, and as a comfortable sitting prop. It measures about 60 × 16 cm.
Care
The cover can be removed and washed gently. Because of the natural dyeing, the shade may vary a little from piece to piece.
