An ancient pattern behind the tree of life drawing
The Tree of Life is a symbol you have seen before — on many old church windows, in meditation books, on garden ornaments. The purpose of this sticker is to bring this gentle, geometric pattern into your home, without drilling a wall or buying a frame. It simply attaches to the window glass, and from then on the sunlight works: every morning and early afternoon it lights up the coloured surfaces from a different angle, so the image is never quite the same twice.
What does it actually look like on the window?
The sticker has a stained-glass style — its surface is translucent and divided into coloured areas, like a miniature version of an old cathedral window. When morning or afternoon sun hits it, the colours pass through into the room and cast gentle, moving coloured patches onto the floor or wall. Under artificial evening light it keeps its character too, only more softly.
Which room do we recommend?
The most common choice is a south- or east-facing window, because that receives the most direct sunlight. If you have a west-facing window, it plays especially nicely in the warm afternoon light. It looks at home in the kitchen, on a bathroom window, in a child's room or on the brighter side of the living room. It also fits a meditation corner well, because the tree of life pattern itself gives a quiet, focused feel.
Application and removal — what to look out for
Apply the sticker when the glass is clean and dry — wipe the dust off with a slightly damp cloth, wait until the glass dries, and only then attach it. Press it onto the surface slowly, from the centre outwards, so no bubbles remain. Later you can carefully peel it off — it can be reapplied, but the nicest effect comes from the first application. Do not stick it onto a cold window.
Cleaning and long life
Cleaning is simple: wipe it carefully with a slightly damp, soft cloth if dust has settled. Do not use strong chemicals or scouring agents, as they can damage the coloured surface. Avoid direct strong heat. On a normal home window it will keep its colours for years. For gentle removal during relocation, the edge of a soft plastic card — for example an old bank card — can help.
