Whitney is a flat, cat-shaped felt crossbody bag, about 34 x 23 cm. Her patchy coat is white, black and orange, her eyes are yellow and her paws have tiny pink details. She is made by hand in Nepal using traditional felting, so every bag is a little different. Her expressive face and flat cat outline make her easy to recognise from afar.
Where your phone and keys go
The bag is slim and flat, not meant for a big shop. It holds your phone and a few small things, such as keys or a pack of tissues. Empty, it weighs about 196 g, so it is comfortable to wear all day.
It is just enough for sightseeing, a craft fair or an afternoon stroll, when you don't want to carry a big bag.
A strap of colourful felt balls
The strap is made of lots of colourful felt balls: small, firm balls of felt threaded one after another. Wear it across your body and your hands stay free at the market, on a walk or on the bus.
The cheerful strap and the orange patches stand out from afar against a plain top or a denim jacket. If you prefer quieter colours, have a look at Stacey too, the black-and-white flat cat with a grey and brown strap.
A gift for cat lovers
Whitney is nothing like an everyday bag. She makes a lovely present for cat lovers, or for you, if you'd like something brighter than the usual black shoulder bag. Felt doesn't cope well with water, so wipe marks with a damp cloth and keep it out of the washing machine. When you are not using it, store it flat in the wardrobe.
