A basic solid perfume recipe uses 70-80% beeswax or candelilla wax, 20-25% liquid carrier oil (fractionated coconut oil, almond oil) and 3-5% essential oil or perfume concentrate. Melt the wax over a water bath, mix in the carrier oil, then add the fragrance just before cooling — work quickly before the mixture sets. For a 15 g dispenser, around 12 g of wax + 3 g of oil blend is needed.
