What the 24-piece display contains
You receive a cardboard display box containing 24 individual White Sage smudge torches. The torches measure approximately 11×3 centimetres, and the total gross weight of the pack is approximately 903 grams. The display window box can be placed directly on a shelf.
What the smudge torch format means
The base of each torch consists of dried leaves of Salvia apiana, the white sage, which here are tied more loosely than in the traditional, tightly compressed bundles. Thanks to the looser binding, the torch ignites more quickly and smoulders for a shorter time than a tightly bound smudge bundle. The torch format is therefore particularly suited to shorter, more focused occasions.
Aroma and use
The resulting smoke is dry, distinctly herbal and pronounced. Briefly light one end of the torch, allow it to settle into a smoulder, then direct the smoke through a room, around an object or around yourself. The torches are used today as botanical incense for ritual practice, meditation, bodywork, or to mark a transition or conclusion.
Origin and pack format
The torches are made in Mexico using traditional binding methods. The 24-piece display format suits both regular personal use and larger household offerings. The torches are packaged by weight, so their dimensions are indicative and may vary slightly.
Safe use
Never leave a burning torch unattended, always use it on a heat-resistant surface or dish, ensure adequate ventilation, and keep it away from children and pets. After use, make sure that the embers have cooled completely.
