Wah-Wah Tube – Mini, 17 cm, Non-Specific Pitch

The smallest aluminium tube in the family, approx. 17 cm long and 3 cm in diameter. One beater included, playable with the wah-wah effect.

The smallest in the family

This wah-wah tube is approx. 17 cm long and 3 cm in diameter, so it sits comfortably in the palm of your hand. The short aluminium body gives a bright, bell-like tone that stays clearly audible in its high register and rings on surprisingly long.

Short tube, undulating tone

One end of the tube is open. Strike it, then cover and uncover the opening with a finger or your palm, and the tone continues with its characteristic wah-wah pulse. Because the instrument is small, the effect can be shaped very quickly and finely - a single finger movement is enough.

What is included

The package contains one beater, so you can play straight away. The tube is made without a specific pitch: it is not part of a scale, which means it can be added to music in any key without clashing with the other instruments.

For workshops and as a signal

Its small size and light weight make it easy to hand to children in workshops, in music education and in sound therapy exercises. Many people use it as a signal: one tap is enough to draw a whole group's attention to the sound.

The smallest of the wah-wah family

Alongside the 17 cm mini there is a 27 cm high-pitched tube, a 32 cm deep one and a five-piece set in F pentatonic tuning. The mini brings the brightest register: place it next to the larger tubes and you can lay a shimmering layer over the rolling sound of the deeper ones, switching between them in an instant.
