A shaker born for fast hands
The name Velox comes from the Latin word for fast - and this instrument was truly made for speed. Its unusual circular shape resembles a bell ring or tambourine at first glance, but once in your hand you immediately feel the difference: the ring fits perfectly in the palm, so fast, fluid shaking movements come almost by themselves.
Multi-chamber construction - controllable volume
Inside the instrument there are several separated chambers, so the sound can be dosed precisely: you decide whether to play a barely audible, subtle rhythmic accompaniment or a powerful, accented groove. The Velox shaker is made of multilayer beech and birch with a decorative veneer, in Germany. Its diameter is about 20 cm (exact size 20 × 21 × 3.5 cm) and it weighs only 192 grams - it will not tire your hand even during longer playing.

Percussionists, singers, guitarists looking for an accompanying instrument, and everyone who loves lively rhythms. If you have used a traditional tube-shaped shaker so far, the circular Velox opens up new ways of playing: with sweeping circular movements you can create a continuous flow of rhythm that would be hard to achieve with a tube.
