The magic of vanilla aroma
Vanilla essential oil is prepared from the extract of the Vanilla planifolia plant's pod. You receive a sweet, warm and slightly creamy fragrance that makes the most intimate corners of your home even friendlier. Vanilla is one of the most universally loved aromas because it brings back pleasant childhood memories of homemade cakes and pastries for almost everyone.
Creating a homely atmosphere
On cool winter evenings, add 4-5 drops of vanilla essential oil to your diffuser and a warm, friendly mood immediately fills the living room. Use it in the bedroom before sleep because its calming nature helps you wind down after a long day. When welcoming guests, the vanilla aroma in the hallway is especially pleasant.
For handmade cosmetics
If you prepare homemade soaps, bath bombs or body scrubs, vanilla essential oil is a beloved ingredient. For one portion of bath bomb 5-10 drops are sufficient, and the lovely vanilla character turns the bath water into a luxurious experience. Mixed into body lotion it leaves a sweet, delicate fragrance cloud on the skin.
Kitchen aroma companion
Although vanilla essential oil is not food, you can still use it in the kitchen: place a few drops on a ceramic tablet near your spice rack, and you will notice the pleasant aroma each time you open the cupboard. During Christmas preparations, diffused alongside beeswax candles, it creates a festive atmosphere.
Storage and notes
Vanilla essential oil has a thicker consistency than other essential oils and should be kept in a dark bottle in a cool place. After opening it retains its character for 18-24 months. Keep away from children, and only apply to skin in diluted form (in a carrier oil). If you have sensitive skin, test on a small area first.
