Sound and character
The template is not an instrument but a helper tool: it lets you place five bridges on the MO-28XL-C with millimetre precision and set a pentatonic tuning within minutes. One side of the template gives major pentatonic positions, the other minor — flipping it over changes the character of the whole instrument.
How to use
- Fast pentatonic setup on the MO-28XL-C
- Switch between major and minor by flipping the template
- Quick tuning change before a sound-therapy session
- A reliable starting point for new owners
Why this product
The MO-28XL-C offers a rich set of notes, but the bridges must sit in exactly the right place for the pentatonic to ring cleanly. This template removes the guesswork and gives you a stable setup every time. The folded lip clips under the strings, so the template stays put while you play.
Care tips
- Fold the lip under the strings and push it up to the tuning-pin bar.
- Align the bridges with the arrows on the template.
- Choose the base-tuning column that matches your monochord and tune the strings to the notes listed.
- Experienced players can freely move the bridges to other positions — even while playing.
