This long-handled tuning key is made for those of you who want greater leverage and more precise control while tuning. The 20 cm handle allows fine, exact turning with less force, so you can adjust the pitch of the strings almost down to a vibration. The quality of the tuning is heard directly in the character of the instrument: a clearer fundamental, longer-ringing overtones.
How to use
Fit the head of the key onto the 5 mm tuning pin and turn slowly in small steps. With the longer handle a gentle motion is especially important: do not force the string, rather approach the desired tone with several small movements. You can check the result by ear or with a tuning device.
