Five planetary tones in one set
This 5-piece set brings together the most sought-after planetary tuning forks: Sun 126.2 Hz, Earth Year (Om) 136.1 Hz, Mars 144.7 Hz, Venus 221.2 Hz and Schumann 250.6 Hz. Planetary tones are derived from the orbital periods of the bodies of our solar system - each fork has its own character, from deep vibrations that can be clearly felt in the body to higher, more ringing tones.
Wooden support for organised work
The set includes a wooden support that keeps the forks at hand and neatly arranged - during a session you can change tones with a single movement. The complete set weighs 0.7 kg and the support measures 16.2 × 4 × 24 cm, so the equipment is easy to carry to clients or to the studio.
Which fork to use when?
The 136.1 Hz Earth Year/Om fork is perhaps the most frequently used tone in sound therapy, ideal for calming basic exercises. The deeper Sun fork gives a powerful, clearly felt vibration; the Mars and Venus forks are used in energising and gently balancing exercises respectively; and the Schumann fork is named after the vibration measurable in the atmosphere of the Earth. You can pair the tones freely: sounding two forks together creates beautiful floating soundscapes.
Who is this selection for?
Sound therapists, massage practitioners, yoga teachers and everyone who wants more than a single fork but is not yet ready to purchase the full series of a dozen pieces. If you are starting your work with tuning forks now, these five tones will give you years of discovery.
