Tuning Fork Solfeggio 174 Hz

The deepest member of the Solfeggio series: a tuning fork tuned to 174 Hz with a maple handle. Nickel-free blackened steel, made in Germany.

The deepest tone of the Solfeggio series

The Solfeggio tones form a scale rooted in an old tradition, and in sound therapy and meditation practice each tone is linked with a characteristic effect. 174 Hz is the deepest of the series: tradition connects it with the energy of the earth, and it is regarded as a calming, relaxing tone that many people use to ease physical tension and soothe discomfort.

Simple to use at home

Hold the fork by its wooden handle, tap the prongs gently against the fleshy part of your palm, then raise it to your ear - the pure, deep tone fades slowly, and even a few repetitions calm the mind pleasantly. Use it before meditation, for winding down in the evening or as part of a sound bath. If you work as a sound therapist, the 174 Hz fork is a well-proven opening tone at the start of a full Solfeggio sequence.

Careful German craftsmanship

The fork is made of blackened, nickel-free steel, so you can use it with confidence even with sensitive skin. The maple handle feels pleasant and gives a secure grip. The fork is 19.5 cm long and weighs only 74 grams - a small, light yet precisely tuned tool that fits in any bag. Made in Germany.

A series you can expand

With the other members of the series - such as the 285, 396, 417 or the well-known 528 Hz fork - you can build a complete Solfeggio set step by step, and wooden stands are available for storing the forks.
