What this eight-piece harmonic set offers
This set of 8 tuning forks sounds the base notes of the seven classic energy points, complemented by an eighth fork tuned to a higher octave. Each fork is tuned to its own precise frequency (from 256 Hz up to 512 Hz), so you can play them together or individually. We recommend the set for both beginners and advanced sound practitioners who want to own a complete base kit from the start.
The eight forks and their frequencies
The set includes: C – 256 Hz (base point), D – 288 Hz, E – 320 Hz, F – 341.3 Hz, G – 384 Hz, A – 426.7 Hz, B – 480 Hz, and the higher octave C – 512 Hz. This sequence was put together to create a sonic spectrum that you can use either by sounding a single fork or by sounding two forks simultaneously to explore the musical interval between them.
Dimensions, material and build
The set measures 45x21 cm overall and weighs 550 grams. Each fork is made of aluminium with tuning accuracy within ±0.25%. Crafted in an Indian workshop, the set arrives in a blue velvet pouch that makes storage and transport convenient. The pouch protects the forks from scratches and dust between sessions.
How to begin using it
If you are new to this set, start with the base note (C – 256 Hz) and work your way up to the higher octave. Hold each fork for a few seconds near your ear and notice where you feel the vibration most clearly. Sounding two forks at once creates intriguing tonal relationships that ancient harmonic systems also used. You are free to experiment with the combinations.
Storage and maintenance
After use, wipe each fork with a soft dry cloth and return it to the blue velvet pouch. Activate with a rubber striker or by tapping your knee – never on a metal surface, as this can affect the tuning. Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and high temperatures.
