The tone of the day: 194.2 Hz
This tuning fork is tuned to the Earth Day tone of 194.2 Hz - the tone calculated from the rhythm of the Earth rotating around its own axis. When sounded, you hear a deep, full hum, and through the stem you can also feel it as a fine vibration in your hand. Tradition regards this tone as activating and invigorating, which is why it is typically chosen for energizing applications at the start of the day.
Nickel-free steel, maple handle
The fork is made of black oxide, nickel-free steel, so it is also suitable for people with sensitive skin. The maple wood handle offers a pleasant grip and lets the vibration ring out long and undisturbed. The fork is 18.6 cm long and weighs only 74 grams.
How to use it
Strike the fork against an activation pad or the soft part of your palm, then hold it near your ear, or place the end of the stem on your body - for example on your arm or shoulder - and notice the gentle vibration. It works well in sound baths, relaxation sessions and quiet moments at home.
