Triple Gemstone Pendulum – Agate, Aventurine and Tiger’s Eye

Green aventurine, brown tiger’s eye and a pointed agate one below the other on silver-tone fittings and a long chain, about 25 cm.

Three different stones hang one below the other on this pendulum. One is a square of light green aventurine, another a brown, geometric tiger’s eye, and the point is a long agate. The metal parts are silver-tone and the chain is long. It is about 25 cm including the chain and was made in India.

Three stones, three colours

Green, brown and dark, almost black shades alternate along it. Tiny flakes sparkle inside the green aventurine. Its name comes from the Italian “a ventura”, meaning “by chance”, because a similar glittering glass was made by accident in Venice and the stone was named after it.

Tradition holds aventurine to be a stone of luck, tiger’s eye of courage and agate of perseverance.

Over a list or a map

Besides yes-or-no questions, a pendulum can also be used with a list. Some people write several options on a sheet of paper, such as three names or three destinations, and hold the pendulum over each in turn. They watch where it starts to move more strongly. Others do the same over a map.

If you would like to try it, write the options at least a hand’s width apart. The decision is always yours, and the pendulum simply gives you a quiet moment to think the options through.

Each stone a little different

Colour, pattern and surface vary from piece to piece, so yours will not look exactly like the picture. The sparkle on the aventurine and the bands on the tiger’s eye may be stronger or fainter. Wipe it with a soft, dry cloth and keep it in a small box.
