A quiet moment in turquoise ceramic
We recommend this Tree of Life ceramic burner to those of you who like the air in your home to be carried by gentle scents. The turquoise glaze brings a cool yet friendly tone to a shelf, a bedside table or a small living room console. You can fill the small dish on top with water, add a few drops of essential oil, and place a tea light underneath. When the flame catches, the light filters softly through the openwork leaves and draws a playful pattern on the wall.
Size, weight, material
The burner measures approximately 11 cm wide and 9.5 cm tall, and weighs around 420 grams. It is fired ceramic finished with a turquoise glaze. The size suits smaller shelves, yet it sits stably enough for safe daily use. The depth of the upper dish keeps the water and essential oil drops from evaporating too quickly.
How to use it
Fill the upper dish with enough water to cover the bottom, then add 3-4 drops of your chosen essential oil. Place a standard tea light in the lower opening and light it. The flame slowly warms the water, releasing a soft cloud of scent into the room. In a medium room, even 4-5 drops can create a noticeable atmosphere.
What to keep in mind
The ceramic becomes warm during use, so please do not move the burner while the flame is lit or just afterwards. Keep it out of reach of children and pets, and away from curtains or paper. Never leave a lit tea light unattended, and avoid draughty spots that could tip the flame.
Cleaning and care
After use, wait for the burner to cool completely, then pour out the remaining water. Wipe the dish with a soft damp cloth; for stubborn oil residue, soak it in lukewarm water with a drop of washing-up liquid. The glaze resists stains, but please avoid abrasive sponges to keep the surface smooth.
