Earth tones, quiet evenings
We made this natural-shade Tree of Life burner for those of you who love warm, earthy colours at home. The pale sandy-beige ceramic pairs well with wooden furniture, linen throws and plant-filled shelves. In the evening, the light shining through the openwork leaves brings a hushed mood to the living room, a reading nook or the bedroom.
Size, material, feel
The burner is around 11 cm wide and 9.5 cm tall, weighing about 420 g. It is fired ceramic with a matt natural surface. The material feels pleasant in the hand, sits comfortably and is heavy enough not to be tipped by a light draught. The base is smooth, so it will not scratch shelves or tables.
How to set the mood
Fill the upper dish with enough water to cover its base, drop in 3-5 drops of essential oil, and place a tea light underneath. Within minutes the water warms and the scent gently spreads. Many of our customers light it as an evening ritual before reading or after a bath, where the light and scent help them slow down.
Safety and attention
The ceramic gets noticeably warm during use, so please do not move it with a lit flame, and do not touch the upper dish straight afterwards. Keep it away from children, pets and anything flammable. Never leave a lit burner unattended, and avoid draughty spots.
Cleaning and a long life
Let it cool fully, then pour away the remaining water and oil. Wipe the dish with a soft damp cloth; if oil clings on, soak it in lukewarm soapy water. The natural surface may take on a soft patina over time, which many find makes it even more beautiful.
