This pine-wood treasure chest holds a carefully chosen mix of small, 1–2 cm tumbled gemstones. The stones are all natural and uncoloured, so their hues show the true shades of the rock – each box is a small, many-coloured treasury.
What stones might be inside?
The assortment is mixed and may include, among others: amethyst, red quartz, Brazilian chalcedony, cat's eye, blue quartz, amazonite, sulphur-bearing quartz, feldspar, black onyx, dalmatian jasper, clear quartz, nephrite jade, rose quartz, milky quartz, red jasper and green quartz. As these are natural minerals, the composition and shades may vary from box to box.
Feng Shui and tradition
Feng Shui is a Chinese way of thinking, over three thousand years old, on how surroundings affect well-being and how the harmonious flow of chi – the life force – can be guided. Gemstones are traditionally used for Feng Shui, meditation and decorating a space; the qualities linked to them are traditional experiences rather than proven effects.
What it is good for
An excellent starter collection, a treasure-hunt for children, a meditation accessory or simply a pretty ornament on a shelf. It also makes a lovely gift, since every box surprises with a different mix of stones.
