Fruits are large, slightly flattened round, with many chambers. The simultaneous ripening means a concentrated harvest — ideal if you want to time the season for home canning.

Growing

Sowing time: March in seed trays. Transplanting: May. Spacing: 50×40 cm. Determinate growth means no side-shoot removal, and the robust stem supports the heavy fruits.

The ripe fruits can be picked in a concentrated harvest in July–August. The large, flattened, multi-chambered structure makes the variety especially suitable for tomato sauce, lecsó, paste and canning. High flesh content with low seed proportion — exactly what you want for preserving.
