Tiger Eye Gemstone Debris – 1 kg
Tiger eye is one of the most distinctive semi-precious stones: its deep brown-gold banded pattern and characteristic cat’s eye play of light (chatoyance) immediately draw attention. This 1 kg gemstone debris pack contains natural tiger eye pieces in the 0.5–1.5 cm size range. Due to its unique aesthetic effect, it is one of the most popular decorative gemstones.
Technical Data
- Material: Tiger eye (natural quartz fibre mineral)
- Stone size: approx. 0.5–1.5 cm
- Package weight: 1 kg
- Colour: deep brown, gold, yellow banded pattern
- Shape: irregular debris pieces
Characteristics
Tiger eye consists of quartz fibres replacing chrysotile asbestos, with a characteristic banded brownish-gold pattern. On a polished surface, the so-called chatoyance (cat’s eye effect) can be observed: a band-like shiny reflection that “flashes” as the stone is moved. In debris pieces this effect is subtler, but it is always present in genuine tiger eye.
How to Use
Place the stones in a glass vase, decorative bowl, or flat tray. The brown-gold tones of tiger eye look exceptionally good alongside natural wood decorations, leather, or textile elements. Excellent as aquarium decoration, for terrariums, and as craft material. As a gift, it is also an excellent choice as a special, unique gemstone.
Why Choose This?
The 1 kg pack of tiger eye debris allows you to obtain this special, banded-pattern stone in a larger quantity at a favourable price. Tiger eye is traditionally associated with courage and determination in various cultures. Its natural, unique pattern provides an unparalleled visual experience.
