The tradition of protection blends
In Tibetan and Nepalese tradition, special blends have long been used to refresh the atmosphere of a space, particularly when someone moves into a new home or seeks a new beginning after a difficult period. The word protection here does not refer to magic but rather to the symbolic practice in which aroma helps separate the past from the present and consciously opens space for a pleasant, balanced mood. This blend is a modern interpretation of traditional resinous, bold ingredients.
The aroma character
The blend has a bold, resinous, slightly smoky aroma with a deep character. It resembles the outdoor burning of frankincense and juniper, which in many cultures symbolises purity and new beginnings. The aroma is neither sweet nor floral but rather serious and elevated. We recommend it to you if you are moving into a new home, returning to a room after major renovation, or simply wish to refresh your home's atmosphere after a difficult period.
Material and quantity
The powder consists exclusively of natural herbs and aromatic wood dust, made according to a traditional Nepalese recipe without the addition of artificial fragrances. The 155 gram quantity is enough for the ritual smoking of multiple rooms in an average home. The powder is finely grained, easy to portion, and, stored in a sealed container, retains its aromatic strength for a long time. Made in Nepal, where traditional recipes have been preserved for centuries.
How to use it for refreshing a space
Place a glowing charcoal disc in a heat-resistant incense bowl and sprinkle half a teaspoon of powder onto it. The powder burns slowly by smouldering, releasing intense, deeply flowing smoke. We recommend, while holding the bowl, that you walk through the rooms, pausing in each corner for a few breaths. While doing so, quietly state to yourself what kind of atmosphere you wish to invite into your home. After refreshing the space, ventilate the home thoroughly so that fresh air flows in.
Safety notes and storage
Due to the more pronounced aroma, ventilation and proper dosing are particularly important. Begin with a small portion and observe how the space and your own sensitivity respond to the aroma. Always use a heat-resistant bowl on a non-flammable surface and keep out of reach of children and pets. Never leave the embers unattended, and carefully check that the powder has cooled before disposing of the ash. Store the powder in a sealed container in a cool, dry place.
