Appearance of the selenite
Selenite is a soft, whitish, translucent mineral with a characteristic silky sheen. The natural lines and fine layers of the stone are visible on the bowl's surface, which makes every piece unique. Your specimen may therefore differ slightly from the one shown in the photo due to natural patterning.
What you can use it for
It is ideal for storing rings, earrings, small minerals, pebbles, or beads. You can use it in the bathroom as a soap or ring holder, on the desk as an organiser for small clips and paper clips, or in the living room as a holder for dried flowers or pine cones. It is up to you to decide what role to give it.
What to watch for
Do not place wet or liquid substances in it, because selenite is sensitive to water and the surface can be damaged. Likewise, avoid scented oils and cosmetic creams. The bowl is suitable only for dry storage.
Cleaning and storage
Wipe it with a dry, soft cloth. If dust gets into the compartments, a soft brush can help with gentle cleaning. Do not wash it with water, and do not store it in a humid environment. If you do not use it for a long time, wrap it in soft fabric and place it in a dry box.
