Terion tomato is one of the outstanding modern varieties of the low-Zömök type bush tomatoes. Mid-early ripening, growing into a compact 40 cm plant that needs no staking — making it especially popular for home gardens. The oval fruits weigh 80–90 g and resist cracking even during wet spells. Heavy bearing: a single plant can produce 70–80 fruits, an outstanding harvest from an average family tomato bed.
Sowing and transplanting
Sowing time: March–April in seed trays. Transplanting: May, after the last frost. Spacing: 50×40 cm, sowing depth 0.5 cm. As a determinate variety, no side-shoot removal is needed, which significantly reduces maintenance work.
The firm fruits can be picked continuously from July. Versatile: equally good for salads, tomato sauce and canning. Thanks to the crack resistance, the harvest stays clean even in rainy periods — a real advantage for home growers.
