A gold-coloured tealight holder in which two upturned hands lift a lotus flower aloft; the cup of the flower is also the seat for the candle. The upward motion gives the piece a light yet ceremonial feel.
Hands and lotus
The open, offering hand is, in tradition, a gesture of giving and respect, while the lotus is a symbol of purity and inner unfolding. Together they recall the image of rising toward the light – a quiet, uplifting motif for a room.
Material and use
The piece is cast in durable polyresin with a warm gold-coloured finish. At 17 cm tall it looks well on a shelf, a sideboard or an altar. The tealight settles into the flower cup, giving the flame a secure place and letting its light play softly over the petals.
Using it safely
- Place it on a heat-resistant, draught-free surface.
- Trim the wick to about 1 cm before lighting.
- Never leave a burning candle unattended.
- Keep out of reach of children and pets.
