This Taurus dish is round, made of mango wood, 10 cm across and 2.5 cm high. The wood is a warm brown with darker grain, and the inner bowl has a glossy lacquer finish and a dark blue rim with tiny gold dots. In the white centre you see a gold bull's head with curved horns, with a large flower and leaves beside it. A small hole in the middle of the bull's head holds an incense stick. The natural grain varies slightly from piece to piece. Made in India; you receive one dish.

Taurus runs roughly from 20 April to 20 May, when gardens are full of flowers. It is an earth sign, linked by astrology to Venus. The Pleiades, the little cluster of stars you can see with the naked eye on winter evenings, also lie in the constellation of Taurus.
