Growing

Sowing time: March–April or August, sown directly outdoors. Spacing: 40×30 cm (larger spacing needed due to head size). Sowing depth: 0.5 cm. Regular watering is needed for proper head development.

Heads are ready for harvest after 80–90 days. Typical uses: hamburgers, sandwiches, BBQ, salad dressings. The crispy iceberg is the cornerstone of countless modern lettuce recipes — Caesar salad, wedge salad, fresh slaw with a creamy dressing.
