This tarot box is a hand-friendly storage box measuring 18×13×6 cm, with a top covered in embossed aluminium sheet bearing the OM symbol. The copper colour gives a warm, gently shining look, and the interior is padded so it protects any tarot or oracle card deck.
Why keep your cards in this box
Cards wear out over the years if kept only in their original paper box. This metal-covered and padded tarot box preserves the corners of the cards, and the inner lining shields them from dust, moisture and light. Your cards will then stay beautiful and vivid for a long time.
The meaning of the OM symbol
In Indian and Buddhist traditions, OM (or Ohm) is the symbol of the primordial, creative sound. Many feel that having the OM mark on a card box adds a quiet, focused atmosphere to a meditation corner or reading desk. If you enjoy eastern motifs, this box fits naturally into your space.
Size and inner layout
The interior of 18 cm wide, 13 cm deep and 6 cm high comfortably holds one or two standard tarot decks, and also a larger oracle deck. Rubber feet on the base help so the box does not slide or scratch on wooden or glass tables.
How it suits a meditation corner
Many keep it on a desk, a shelf or in a meditation corner. The warm copper colour pairs well with natural wood, candles and candle holders. If you reach for your cards often in the morning or evening, this box becomes both a place of storage and a part of the room.
Care and storage
It is made in India and is easily cleaned with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Avoid harsh or abrasive cleaners, as they may mark the copper-coloured surface. Keep it out of direct sunlight and in a dry place, so the metal cover keeps its warm glow for many years.
