Where the star meets citrine
At the centre of the suncatcher is a star shaped from bent metal, with small citrine stones and polished glass crystal pieces joined to it. The warm, honey-toned hue of citrine works beautifully with the rainbow refraction of the polished crystals, so in sunny weather you see warm gold and bright rainbow tones on the wall at the same time.
Where to hang it
The piece looks lovely on a living-room, kitchen or dining-room window where you would like afternoon light to add a cheerful feel to the space. A south- or west-facing window is the best choice because afternoon sunshine passes through the crystals there most effectively. As the total size is 35 cm and the weight is only 45 grams, you can comfortably place it on a simple hook.
