This tabletop suncatcher stands on a wooden base, with a metal moon motif and cut crystal glass that softly reflects incoming light. Placed on a desk, windowsill, shelf or altar it creates a fine, moving play of light without dominating the space – an easy way to brighten a workspace or a personal corner.
Moon motif and the feng shui tradition
The moon is a much-loved symbol of cycles and renewal. Feng shui is a Chinese way of thinking thousands of years old that considers how the arrangement of a space shapes its mood. A light-catching object is, by tradition, said to make the corner it sits in feel lively and bright – a traditional, symbolic framing.
