This cone-shaped multicoloured sun-catcher is a piece cut from lead crystal, finished with an iridescent multicoloured coating. The narrow form hanging point-down looks elegant, while the coating produces a vivid, cheerful light play. The AAA grade refers to the cleanliness of the surface and the cut.
What the multicoloured coating brings
The classical bright version gives neutral, cool-toned rainbow light, while the iridescent multicoloured coating already shimmers with pink, blue and golden tones of its own. If you want a small decoration for a cheerful room, this is the more striking choice. It uplifts a children's room and a kitchen alike.
Where to hang it
We recommend a window receiving several hours of direct sun a day, most often facing south or south-east. The narrow form is well-proportioned even at smaller windows. In a children's room, placing it above the play area lets the morning sun draw moving coloured spots on the floor and above the bed.
The light effect
The lengthwise facets of the cone break light into elongated spots, and thanks to the iridescent coating these are livelier and more colourful than with the classical version. Hung up, the crystal turns slowly in air movement, so the coloured spots on the wall keep moving and travelling.
Cleaning and care
Wipe weekly with a dry microfibre cloth. Clean heavier dirt gently with lukewarm water. Do not use abrasive products, window sprays or alcohol-based cleaners, as these can ruin the iridescent coating. Check the hanging cord once a year.
What else to keep in mind
The sun-catcher arrives in protective packaging. In a children's room, fix it high on a secure hook so a child cannot pull it down. The tip of the cone is sharp, so when storing it, take care not to strike it against hard surfaces.
