It is built on two quality tea bases: pu-erh red tea (long-aged Chinese leaf with a soft earthy character) and sencha green tea (Japanese-style fresh, grassy tea), rounded out with hibiscus, freeze-dried strawberry, kiwi and apple pieces, and rosehip. The result is a balanced, mildly tart, fruit-sweet cup that performs equally well hot or iced.
Flavour profile
Summer Magic releases the aroma of a sunlit orchard the moment the pouch is opened: ripe strawberry, fresh kiwi and gently tart hibiscus. The cup unfolds in three layers — a bright, acidic first sip (hibiscus, apple), a softer middle of pu-erh earthiness and sencha grassiness, and a fruity-rosehip finish with light natural sweetness. Enjoyable plain, it rounds out beautifully with a touch of acacia honey or cane sugar.
Preparation tips
Hot: pour 200 ml of 90-95 °C water over 2-3 g of leaf (achievable by letting freshly boiled water rest briefly), steep 4-5 minutes. A longer steep gives a stronger, more acidic cup. Iced: steep 5-6 g in 250 ml hot water for 4 minutes, then pour over ice — the stronger ratio compensates for dilution. For signature drinks, a lemon wheel, fresh basil or mint accents the fruit profile nicely.
Storage and shelf life
Unopened, the pouch keeps for 24 months from production in a dark, dry, cool (max 22 °C) place. After opening, transfer to an airtight, light-proof caddy (tea tin, metal canister) and use within 6 months. Keep away from spices, coffee and other strongly scented goods — tea readily absorbs ambient aromas.
