Sound and character
A T-wrench gives a quite different feel to tuning than an L-shaped key. The symmetrical grip extending to both hands allows even force distribution, so even the thicker 5.9 mm sound bed pins can be turned gently and centred. This precise adjustment directly affects the deep, full, vibrating sound character of the sound bed.
How to use
Place the head of the key on the 5.9 mm pin of the sound bed and turn evenly with both hands. The T-form provides comfortable counter-pressure, so the tension of the string can be dosed accurately. You can verify the result on every string by ear or with a tuning app.
Why this product
Choose this version if you prefer a two-handed, compact tuning tool and you work on a Feeltone sound bed. The T-wrench is especially practical in tight spaces, or when a longer L-key does not fit comfortably in the working area.
Care tips
- Always tune in small steps; avoid sudden, large turns.
- Use it only on 5.9 mm sound bed pins.
- Even pressure from both hands helps with fine tuning of the string.
- Store in a dry place protected from dust.
