Nomád Sari stone-washed T-shirts are made from 100% natural cotton in Nepal, with a double stone-washing process. This M-sized, charcoal piece carries the "Rebel" lettering — a single, characterful English word printed in a stylised typography on the chest.
"Rebel" as a quiet message
"Rebel" in English means someone who pushes back — but not necessarily in an aggressive sense. It says, more or less: "We don't have to do everything the same way as everyone else." It is for customers who do not raise their voice but still recognise in themselves that quiet independence which sometimes shows up in a decision, sometimes in a viewpoint, sometimes in a life choice. The lettering is short, easy to read, and slightly more characterful than the average.
Why the charcoal base
Charcoal sits between black and dark grey — deeper and more characterful than classic grey, yet not as strict as black. The lighter-toned "Rebel" lettering contrasts nicely with it: from a distance you see only a firm base colour; up close the lettering is clearly readable. That kind of restrained character is exactly right for many people — it does not shout, but it is present.
The M-size cut
An M piece measures approximately 64 cm long and 45 cm wide at the chest. A classic, comfortable cut; not tight, not loose. If you normally wear M, you will wear this well. If you are unsure, write to us: we are happy to help based on current stock.
What this shirt is for
The "Rebel" lettering is the best choice when you want to give your daily wear a slightly stronger character — without being loud or provocative. With classic denim and a leather bracelet it makes a relaxed, confident look; with dark grey or black chinos it leans more urban and decisive. It is not a special-occasion shirt and does not need to be — its purpose is precisely to accompany you through the everyday.
Stone-washed cotton — value in the details
During stone-washing the finished shirts are tumbled with stones in a washing machine. This gives a soft, fuzzy, used-vintage surface from the first wear, and pre-shrinks the textile too — so the size stays stable through later washes. The lettering also blends into the worked fabric, so it does not feel like a sticker but like a natural part of the shirt.
Care and longevity
Wash at 30°C inside out. Avoid bleach and strong softener, which fade the lettering over time. Air-dry in the shade — direct sun can also dim the depth of charcoal over the years. Ironing is generally unnecessary; if needed, shield the lettering with a thin cloth. Many of our customers find Nomád Sari shirts look their best after one or two years of wear.
