Nomád Sari stone-washed T-shirts are made from 100% natural cotton in Nepal, with a double stone-washing process. This M-sized, burgundy piece carries the dragon-mandala motif — a special composition in which a stylised dragon, drawing on Eastern tradition, winds inside a circular mandala structure.
The dragon-mandala — two strong images meeting
The mandala's circle stands for wholeness and inner balance; the dragon — especially in Chinese, Tibetan and other East Asian traditions — for wisdom, strength and respect for the forces of nature. Together they form a classic, well-composed motif: the mandala frame settles the eye, while the dragon figure gives the piece its character. It is no surprise that many of our customers consider this merged graphic one of the favourites of the Nomád Sari series.
Why burgundy
Burgundy is not an everyday T-shirt colour — a deep, saturated, slightly warming tone. It fits the symbolism of the dragon-mandala, in which strength and dignity feature strongly. On the burgundy base the blackish-grey print forms a firm but not aggressive contrast, so the picture stands out clearly without taking attention away from the wearer. It goes well with classic denim, dark grey chinos, or black linen trousers.
The M-size cut

Details that matter
The dragon's contours and the small geometric ornaments of the mandala are only really visible up close. They give the piece a kind of "second-time discovery": the wearer notices them in the mirror, and each time sees something new. The print holds its sharpness particularly well on the stone-washed surface, since the textile's already "worked" face binds the colour better.
When to wear it
A burgundy dragon-mandala shirt is not an ordinary grey T-shirt. It is for moments when you want a slightly stronger character — a weekend walk, a café meeting, a book launch, a day of meditation. A black leather bracelet or a longer wooden-bead necklace complements it nicely without over-decorating.
Washing and long-term use
Wash at 30°C inside out — burgundy textile is particularly sensitive to bleach and strong softener, so avoiding these keeps the depth of colour for years. Air-dry in the shade; direct sunlight slowly dulls burgundy. Ironing is generally unnecessary; if needed, always shield the dragon-mandala print with a thin cloth. Stone-washed cotton reaches its final, characterful state only after years — which is exactly why many customers come back to this series.
