Sound and character
The extension does not alter the voice of the Monolina XL, but it opens up new playing options. In the raised position the instrument resonates freely, the strings sit further from the floor, and you can sound the long strings from a seated posture with a more natural arm angle.
How to use
Screw the legs of the existing RS-28GM small round stand onto the extension elements, then attach the 83 cm cross-bar to the two pre-drilled legs. The resulting taller stand matches the Monolina XL geometry and makes the instrument comfortable to play while sitting on a chair.
Why this product
The 83 cm cross-bar fits the Monolina XL only — separate versions exist for smaller and larger monochords. The whole frame disassembles, so it travels compactly together with the Monolina XL bag, leaving you free to choose between a meditation seat and chair-height playing.
Care tips
- Always tighten by hand and avoid over-torquing the screws.
- Disassemble before transport and protect the parts inside the instrument bag.
- The cross-bar is available separately if you use multiple frame configurations.
- Wood reacts naturally to humidity — re-check the joints from time to time.
