Sound and character
The extension itself is not an instrument, yet it directly shapes how you play the monochord. The raised height invites a natural hand position and calmer breathing, so the strings sound undisturbed while you find a more comfortable posture. The free-standing build keeps the resonance fully open.
How to use
Fit the legs of the small round stand (RS-28GM) onto the extension elements and secure them with the M6 screws. The cross-bar attaches to the two legs that have the pre-drilled bore. The resulting taller stand lets you play the Monolini or Monolina monochord while seated on a chair, whether for personal practice or in a session setting.
Why this product
This 69 cm version is dimensioned specifically for the Monolini and Monolina geometry. The stand is fully demountable, so the whole set fits back into the monochord's own bag, and you stay free to choose between a meditation cushion, a low table or a chair.
Care tips
- Tighten the hex screws by hand only — the wood-to-metal joint is durable but sensitive to over-torquing.
- Always disassemble for transport and return the parts to the original bag.
- Re-check the screw tension occasionally, as the wood reacts slightly to changes in humidity.
- Wipe with a dry or barely damp soft cloth; avoid chemical cleaners.
