Brush sounds with your hands free
What makes this mountable brush special is that you do not have to hold it all the time: with its Velcro fastening it attaches to the edge of the playing surface of a cajon or frame drum - and to the edge of almost any instrument. Your hands stay free whenever you need them, while the brush stays in place and can be removed at any time.
A warm, soft attack from nylon rods
The fine, round, semi-transparent nylon rods produce a very warm, soft attack - gentler than a wooden stick, yet more defined than the bare hand. It gives you a pleasant voice for quiet accompaniment, acoustic settings and practice at home.
Rubberised protective handle
The approx. 21 cm long brush has a rubberised handle that protects the surface of your instrument and offers a secure, comfortable grip when held in the hand. It weighs just 38 grams, so it is practically unnoticeable in an instrument bag. The product is made in Germany.
Ideas for using it
Attach it to the edge of your cajon's playing surface and alternate between hand and brush sounds within a single groove. On a frame drum, placed at the edge of the head, it lets you play quiet, whispering embellishments. If you accompany singers or play in smaller groups, the brush lets you colour the rhythm gently without covering the others.
