The scent of holidays throughout the year
The scent of mandarin recalls childhood Christmases for many of us, when a basket of mandarins waited under the tree for the family. Adding bay laurel, however, gives this traditional fragrance an entirely new character: the fresh, slightly herbal note creates a festive yet modern atmosphere. Indian master candle makers created this hand-poured soy candle precisely with this dual effect in mind.
The composition of the candle in detail
The candle is poured from one hundred percent natural soy wax, made from oil pressed from American soybean seeds. The cotton wick is pure-fibre without a metal core, so no heavy metal is released into your room during burning. Fragrance components include Spanish mandarin peel oil, the distillate of Mediterranean bay laurel (laurus nobilis), as well as a touch of cinnamon and vanilla for the warm base note.
When it serves you best
During Christmas preparations, when intimate family gatherings deserve their own fragrance. For Sunday afternoon reading by the fireplace, or for an evening of long conversation over coffee. Lit thirty minutes before guests arrive, it greets your visitors with a friendly atmosphere as soon as they step through the door.
Who tends to love it most
People who enjoy classic, festive scents but seek a more individual twist compared to the simple orange-cinnamon composition. Older family members who appreciate the gentle burning of natural soy candles also respond well to it. As a Christmas gift to a close friend or cousin, it makes an ideal choice for you to give.
Burning and storage
On first use, burn for two hours so the surface fully melts. Before each session, trim the wick to five millimetres, so it does not smoke or burn irregularly. Do not exceed four hours of continuous burning at a time. After use, place it on a heat-resistant surface to cool, and store in a cool place protected from direct sunlight.
