Soy Candle in Metal Box – Citrus
Citrus is one of the cleanest and most refreshing aromas a soy candle can carry. This Agnes and Cat artisan soy candle offers a harmonious blend of mixed citrus notes – orange, grapefruit, a touch of lemon – built on natural soy wax with a premium fragrance oil blend. The scent is bright and optimistic but never aggressive: like opening the window on a morning and stepping into a fruit garden. Ideal for living rooms, kitchens or as a companion to an active morning routine.

Scent profile
The top note is vibrant, fresh grapefruit with a hint of sweet orange – direct and uplifting. The heart note brings bergamot and a lightly bitter lemon peel, adding depth and a sense of authenticity. The base note is the soy wax foundation with a soft musk – restrained and long-lasting. The overall impression: sunny, vibrant, energising yet not tiring.
How to use
Place the candle on a firm, heat-resistant surface. On the first burn, keep it lit for at least 2 hours until the full wax surface has melted. Trim the wick to 6 mm before every lighting. Keep away from flammable materials and draughts, and never leave a burning candle unattended.
Why choose this candle
The mood-boosting effect of citrus aromas is well documented in aromatherapy research: they stimulate positive emotions, increase concentration and can reduce feelings of fatigue. This makes the candle especially recommended as a morning wake-up, for a home office or for rooms you want to give a fresher character. Agnes and Cat soy candles release fewer sooty particles than paraffin candles thanks to their natural base.
Tips
- Light it when waking up or before yoga – citrus gives a natural energy boost.
- Excellent as a natural air freshener in the kitchen before cooking.
- Avoid burning alongside heavier, woody-scented candles at the same time – the citrus gets lost.
- After washing, the empty tin is great for storing spices, teas or small supplies.
- Particularly recommended in early summer when its seasonally fresh mood really comes into its own.
