Sound character
The soft head doesn't strike the surface – it "pours" the energy into the gong: this is what makes the fundamental full and the partials waving. In concert use a player can work 3-4 hours straight without hand fatigue.
Typical uses
Every Sona Dance Gong situation: sound baths, concert work, ritual sessions, meditation. It works on other Sona gongs as well, but the character is optimised for the 54 cm.
