Round soapstone incense stand with six elephants
This 12 cm tall round soapstone incense holder is encircled by six small hand-carved elephants. Soft details on the ears, trunks and bodies are shaped by Indian artisans from natural soapstone, so every piece has its own shade and pattern.
At around 260 g the piece feels pleasantly substantial and sits firmly on nightstands, desks or altars. The single top hole holds the stick, while the wider upper surface catches the ash.
Why an elephant motif?
Elephants are widely associated with wisdom, endurance, strength and steady leadership. Many traditions link them with a clear, obstacle-free path, making this piece a quiet reminder to keep a calm, unhurried pace in both meditation and everyday life.
How to use
Insert an incense stick into the central hole, light the tip and gently blow out the flame so it smoulders. Ash falls onto the wider upper surface around the stick. Empty the ash after use so the stone surface stays clean.
Care
Dust with a soft dry cloth. For deeper cleaning use a lightly damp cloth and let the piece air-dry. Avoid bleach, acids and solvent-based cleaners.
