Round soapstone incense stand with a Ganesha motif
This 10 cm round soapstone incense holder features a central Ganesha motif. In the Hindu tradition Ganesha is revered as a remover of obstacles and a patron of new beginnings and learning. The piece is hand-carved in India from natural soapstone, so every example has its own shade and small character differences.
At around 180 g it is substantial for its size, sitting firmly on desks and altars even on slightly uneven surfaces. The closed base prevents sliding or tipping.
How to use
Place a stick into the central hole, light the tip and blow out the flame.
