Five-stick flower soapstone incense stand
A 10 cm round soapstone incense holder with a stylised flower design on top, its five petal-like holes letting you place up to five incense sticks at once. This makes it especially useful for larger spaces or group sessions, while the flower shape itself evokes opening, renewal and wholeness.
Hand-carved in India from natural soapstone, the piece weighs about 140 g, with a stable base and a shallow catch area around the petals. Each piece shows its own grey-beige shade and subtle veining.
How to use
Place one or more sticks into the holes, light them in turn and blow out the flames so they smoulder. Keep the sticks from touching each other, and empty the ash regularly. For personal use, 1-2 sticks usually give a pleasant intensity; all five at once suits larger rooms and group practice.
Care
Dust with a soft cloth; use a lightly damp cloth to remove ash marks. Avoid strong chemical cleaners so the stone keeps its natural look.
