The drawing of the five-pointed star
The pentagram is an ancient symbol representing the five elements – earth, water, fire, air, spirit. The artisan carves it onto the top of the burner with hand tools, and the lines gently sink into the soapstone. You receive a piece whose pattern is the result of manual work, so each example differs slightly.
How the pleasant aroma spreads
A standard tealight goes into the lower chamber. Pour two to three tablespoons of water into the upper bowl and add three to five drops of your favourite essential oil. The flame gently warms the water and the oil molecules slowly spread into the air. You need no electrical device.
Size for shelf and desk
The 11 cm diameter and 9 cm height fit comfortably in most places: bedside tables, windowsills, bathrooms or desks. The slightly grey soapstone looks attractive on wooden surfaces or coloured textiles. You can choose freely where it suits your home.
When to use it
In the morning, refreshing citrus oil can help you wake. At noon, after airing the room, peppermint or rosemary brings freshness. In the evening lavender, Roman chamomile or sandalwood creates pleasant calm before sleep. Always use essential oils in small amounts.
Care with simple gestures
Let the burner cool completely. Rinse oily water residue with lukewarm water and wipe with a soft cloth. Avoid strong detergents: soapstone is sensitive and may scratch. If an oily film remains, loosen it with a little baking soda and rinse with lukewarm water, then dry it carefully so the engraved pentagram lines stay crisp and clean for many years to come.
