A larger, refined piece
This soapstone incense holder and oil burner is a larger, heavier piece than ordinary small holders. It stands stably on a shelf or in the middle of a table and can serve on its own as a decorative central element. If you are looking for a more refined, more demanding piece for your living room, we are happy to recommend this one.
Flower of Life – the symbol of balance
The Flower of Life is an ancient geometric form of six interlocking circles, which in many cultures symbolises the unity of life and the order of nature. The finely carved lines are especially beautiful on the silky, warm grey surface of soapstone, and you can look upon it as a pleasant sight day by day.
Comfortable for both purposes
In the upper, deeper bowl, you can drip essential oil mixed with water above a tealight. Due to the larger size, it can hold more essential oil at once, so the scent lasts longer. You can also stand an incense stick in it, and the ash gathers in the carved channel.
When it serves you especially well
When guests arrive, at family dinners, for quiet evening reading or meditation. Sandalwood, white sage, lavender, cinnamon or orange scents all suit it well – you can choose freely according to mood, and the stone handles varied scents beautifully.
Care
After use, let it cool completely and wipe with a dry soft cloth. Occasionally rub with a few drops of vegetable oil, which deepens the grey colour of the stone nicely and brings out the details of the carving more sharply. Never use strong detergent with it.
